A Journey of Vasundhara Foundation
Since its inception in 2003 under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, Vasundhara Foundation has grown from its early work in Surendranagar (2015) to impacting over 350 villages across nine districts in Gujarat. Our journey spans joint forest management, child protection, STEM education for girls, and regenerative agriculture. By March 2025, we focus on Patan and Narmada districts, driving impactful projects with partners like Reliance Foundation, Cotton Connect, and Azim Premji Foundation. Our work has empowered thousands of farmers, women, and youth, fostering sustainable livelihoods and environmental resilience.
Key Milestones in the Growth Journey of Vasundhara Foundation
Establishment and Vision:
Vasundhara Foundation was established in 2003, registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, by a group of multi-sectoral professionals. Our mission is to provide comprehensive handholding support to Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), village institutions, government organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
